| ELS/San Francisco will be relocating to the campus of Golden Gate University (GGU) as of the session beginning April 7, 2008. We are very excited about this relocation. The new location will provide ELS students an improved study environment and opportunities to meet fellow American students, yet the center will remain in the heart of beautiful San Francisco!
New Location:
Golden Gate University's city center campus, is located only about 10 minutes walk from our current Powell Street location. Residence Clubs, public transportation options and Union Square all remain within walking distance. It is located in a good neighborhood on Mission street, just a few blocks away from the Sony Metreon Entertainment Center, and within blocks of many other shops, restaurants and cafes. It is an impressive building, with modern well equipped classrooms, a library, student lounges, and cafe. The entire building is equipped with wireless internet. Our ELS center administrative offices will be located on the 5th floor, as well as our Language Technology Center. Our students will use a variety of GGU's classrooms throughout the building.

Golden Gate University was founded in San Francisco in 1901. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in business and management, accounting, information technology, taxation, and law. Degree options include: MBA, BBA, MS Finance, MS Financial Planning, MS Information Technology and Management, MS Marketing, MAC Accountancy, BS Accountancy and BA Management.
For undergraduate admission, GGU requires a TOEFL score of 525PBT/197CBT/71IBT. For graduate admission, a TOEFL score of 550PBT/213CBT/79IBT is required. At this time, GGU does not accept completion of ELS 112 in place of their TOEFL requirement, but welcomes international student applications referred by ELS and our overseas counseling agent partners.
